My name is Kattah Norming, a passionate Information Security professional with over 7 years’ experience in vulnerability management, security audit and assessment, coupled with a focus on Governance, Risk and Compliance. I have worked across board from the private, the department of Defense and the federal government supporting classified and sensitive information systems. I am currently a Senior Information Systems Security Officer supporting aerospace space programs with NASA. I have developed several strategic cyber security programs and policies by leveraging on most of the current cyber security frameworks like the NIST CSF, PCI DSS, FISMA, ISO 27001 as well as CIS Framework in support of third party Risk. Currently I am the confounder of HAMSAK Cyber where I serve as a Senior Instructor who has contributed to the cyber workforce and trained over 20 IT professionals who have gone through a mentorship and placed into various cyber security roles. I also serve as the Executive Director for Kattah Norming Foundation. I am passionate about kids' wellness and humanity as a whole. Seeing beautiful smiles on the faces of children is a fulfilment to me.
